So, this is a good time to bring up my fascination with double-exposures. While we were chilling out for a week in Barcelona. I had planned a trip to the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres (By the way if you ever get a chance go there, it's a MUST!). One of my travel buddies was having problems with his camera, it wasn't rewinding his film all the way back into the roll. Fatefully, I forgot to bring an extra roll of film that day (of all days), so he let me borrow one of his (not knowing it had already had been exposed). The roll I took at the Dali Museum were overlapped by the photos my buddy took of the Italy vs. Norway World Cuip game and the train ride from Vienna to Venice. When I got back to the States, I developed the roll to witness these amazing images of surrealism. It was like Dali blessed the film personally. And being a big fan of Dali, I was astonished, fascinated and a little tripped out. That is still one of the most surreal events of my life.

This is how I came about shooting double-exposures randomly with my friends. It's nothing untried, plenty of artists have been doing it for decades (now with computers, Photoshop can produce similar images very easily), but the results are always unique to me when it's done randomly. And this is why I see it as an enjoyable artform and end up posting them here for everyone to see. I picked out the most interesting exposures in the roll.
